Structure: GTACSR, GZTACSR

  • The center is the super-bearing steel core, the outside is the heat-resistant (or super-heat-resistant) aluminum alloy layer
  • To create a gap between the steel core and the aluminum inner layer, the aluminum inner layers are trapezoidal
  • The gap between the aluminum alloy layer and the steel core is filled with heat-resistant grease to avoid friction between the steel core and the aluminum part
  • The aluminum alloy layer and the steel core can be moved independently

Characteristics:

  • Maximum conductor temperature in normal service:
    • GTACSR: 150°C
    • GZTACSR: 210°C

Advantages:

  • The gap-resistant heat-resistant conductor can work 1.6 times the current (GTACSR) or double (GZTACSR) than the traditional overhead conductor because of its high temperature resistance.
  • Gapless heat-resistant wire is a perfect solution for overhead line upgrades. Currently the ACSR conductor can be easily replaced by a heat resistant wire with a gap of up to twice as much capacity
  • No need or restriction to change the tower structure when upgrading lines

Uses:

  • GTACSR, GZTACSR are used for overhead power transmission lines
